We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior projects across residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to deliver innovative designs that balance functionality, aesthetics, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept Development: Create design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts that align with client requirements and brand identity.
- Design Execution: Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and presentations using CAD and other design software.
- Client Engagement: Meet with clients to understand their vision, present proposals, and incorporate feedback.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from start to completion, including budgeting, quotations, and cost control.
- Site Coordination: Work with contractors and suppliers to ensure design intent is executed on-site.
- Material & Furniture Selection: Source and specify finishes, furniture, lighting, and dcor elements.
- Compliance: Ensure designs meet building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards in Singapore.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in interior design projects (residential/commercial).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Skills
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and suppliers in Singapore.
