Job Summary
You will lead interior design projects from client consultation through to project completion, delivering tailored design solutions while managing timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality renovation outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Meet clients to gather detailed requirements, budget constraints, and design preferences to tailor project plans
- Conduct site visits and take precise measurements to evaluate space layout and inform design decisions
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and 3D drawings to visualize client ideas
- Prepare accurate CAD drawings and detailed design documentation for project execution
- Source materials, furniture, and fixtures by coordinating with suppliers to meet design specifications
- Prepare quotations and invoices, ensuring transparent communication of project costs to clients
- Manage project timelines proactively to prevent delays and ensure smooth renovation progress
- Coordinate with contractors and trades to align work schedules and maintain quality standards
- Organize, submit, and file all necessary paperwork including quotations, permits, invoices, MCST and HDB forms in compliance with regulations
- Apply knowledge of Singapore renovation regulations to ensure all projects meet legal requirements
- Address client feedback and complaints professionally to maintain strong client relationships
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with clients until project completion
- Work independently to manage tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Uphold integrity in all submissions, communications, and work processes to maintain company standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience using AutoCAD or other design software to produce detailed design drawings
- Strong organizational skills to manage work efficiently and maintain orderly documentation
- Good problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues calmly and effectively
- Responsible and proactive approach with the ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Sales-driven mindset with interest or experience in interior design
