Interior Designer

Job Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand requirements, budget, and design preferences.
• Conduct site visits, measurements, and evaluate space layout.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and 3D drawings.
• Prepare accurate CAD drawings and detailed design documentation.
• Source materials, furniture, fixtures, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and ensure clear communication on project costs.
• Manage project timeline to prevent delays and ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate with contractors and various trades throughout the renovation process.
• Ensure all paperwork is properly organised, submitted, and filed (quotations, permits, invoices, MCST forms, HDB forms, etc.).
• Abide and familiar with Singapore regulations correctly
• Handle client feedback and complaints professionally and tactfully.
• Maintain good communication and follow-up with clients until project completion.
• Work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Uphold integrity in all submissions, communication, and work processes.

Requirements

• Experience in AutoCAD or other design software.
• Strong understanding of Singapore renovation regulations.
• Able to work independently and also cooperate well in a team.
• Strong organisational skills able to manage work efficiently to avoid delays or messy paperwork.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer issues calmly.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to follow SOPs.
• Sales-driven with interest or experience in interior design.
