Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking an Interior Designer to support the design development and execution of interior projects from concept through completion. The role requires both creative design capability and a clear understanding of technical coordination within Singapore's built environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop interior design concepts in response to client briefs, budgets, and timelines.

- Prepare space planning layouts, mood boards, design presentations, and material specifications.

- Produce technical drawings including layout plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.

- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and external consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent, quality, and workmanship standards are met.

- Attend client meetings, site meetings, and project coordination meetings.

- Prepare and manage project documentation, specifications, and tender drawings.

- Ensure all design works comply with Singapore building regulations, codes of practice, and workplace safety requirements.

- Support project scheduling and timely delivery of assigned tasks.

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Spatial Design, or related field.

- Minimum 2 years of relevant interior design working experience.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, and basic construction detailing.

- Familiarity with residential and/or commercial interior projects in Singapore.

- Strong communication, coordination, and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and within a team-based studio environment.
