Job Description
We are seeking a Digital Automation Specialist who bridges both business and technical domains, playing a critical role in driving automation and digital transformation across the organization. This role requires a highly effective communicator who excels at engaging stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights, and driving alignment across teams. You will combine hands-on development using Microsoft Power Platform with business analysis and coordination, ensuring solutions are clearly understood, well adopted, and aligned with strategic objectives. You will also design and deliver AI copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio and integrate solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure to enable secure, scalable automation and GenAI experiences.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from Finance, HR, Operations, and Commercial teams to identify automation opportunities, gather and clarify requirements, and design scalable workflow and AI-enabled documentprocessing solutions. Acting as a trusted IT Project Engineer to the business, you will manage expectations, facilitate discussions, and communicate progress and outcomes with clarity and professionalism. This role is ideal forsomeone who is technically capable, business-oriented, and highly skilled in stakeholder communication, with the ability to translate user needs into practical, impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Development
- Develop workflow automation using Power Automate (Cloud)
- Build user-friendly business applications using Power Apps
- Build and maintain solutions using Data verse (data modeling, security roles, and permissions)
- Implement document automation solutions using AI Builder / OCR tools
- Design, build, test, and publish copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio (conversation flows/topics, generative answers, and actions)
- Support SharePoint / Microsoft Lists based workflows
- Apply Power Platform ALM practices (solutions, environments, Dev/Test/Prod deployment, and version control/pipelines)
- Define and enforce Power Platform governance standards (environment strategy, DLP policies, access control, and lifecycle management)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Identify automation opportunities across departments
- Gather and clarify business requirements
- Translate requirements into technical design documentation
- Perform workflow/process mapping and identify optimization points
Project Delivery & Governance
- Work closely with automation developers and business users to ensure successful delivery
- Support UAT planning, testing, and go live activities
- Track automation KPIs such as time savings and error reduction
- Maintain solution documentation, standards, and best practices
AI / Digital Transformation Initiatives
- Support AI-driven document automation (PO, invoice, logistics documents, etc.)
- Design and operationalize copilot guardrails and governance (data boundaries, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices)
- Integrate copilots and automations with enterprise systems using connectors/APIs and Azure integration components where required
- Monitor copilot performance and adoption using analytics, user feedback, and continuous improvement cycles
- Collaborate on transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency
- Promote user adoption and support change management activities
Requirements
Must have
- 3-5years experience in business systems, automation, or digital transformation
- Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Data verse)
- Experience integrating Power Platform/Copilot solutions with Azure and APIs (authentication, connectors, and integration patterns)
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools
- Experience gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and process documentation experience
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability
Good To Have
- Experience with AI Builder, OCR, or other document processing tools
- Power BI exposure (report consumption or basic analytics)
- SAP or ERP system exposure
- Experience with Azure services used for integration and AI enablement (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault)
- Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID concepts (app registrations, OAuth, RBAC) for securing integrations
- Power Platform ALM / governance exposure (DLP, CoE Starter Kit, managed solutions)
- API / JSON understanding
- Project management or coordination experience
