We are looking for an Integration Platform Engineer to support enterprise application implementation, integration, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support activities. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, functional teams, data intelligence teams, system integrators, developers, testers, and project stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions within the standard application framework. This role requires strong hands-on experience in .NET, SQL, application integration, debugging, root cause analysis, and technical issue resolution. The candidate should also be able to guide stakeholders on best practices, assess technical feasibility, and recommend standard platform features or maintainable workarounds instead of unnecessary customisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support functional and data intelligence teams in meeting business requirements within the standard application framework.
- Work closely with customers and system integrators during the design phase to provide technical guidance, feasibility assessments, and best-practice recommendations.
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into suitable integration and platform solutions.
- Contribute to the configuration, enhancement, and implementation of enterprise application solutions.
- Perform reverse engineering, debugging, and technical analysis to resolve project issues across implementation phases.
- Guide customers and system integrators on complex technical and functional requirements.
- Use SQL to troubleshoot technical issues, validate data, support advanced configuration, and analyse application behaviour.
- Debug application, integration, and data-related issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Resolve technical defects during development, testing, deployment, and production support phases.
- Support delivery-related issues and resolve technical operational problems.
- Contribute to peer code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
- Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and defect resolution.
- Contribute to delivery and deployment planning to ensure smooth and successful go-lives.
- Support post-go-live stabilisation and production support activities.
- Contribute to Project Management Office activities, including status updates, issue tracking, risk identification, and coordination with project teams.
- Manage customer expectations and promote the use of standard application features to ensure long-term maintainability.
- Recommend maintainable workarounds to reduce unnecessary custom code and minimise long-term support risks.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in .NET / C# application development, integration, troubleshooting, or platform engineering.
- Good working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries, analysing data, troubleshooting issues, and supporting configuration activities.
- Experience in enterprise application implementation, application integration, system configuration, or production support.
- Good understanding of APIs, data flows, middleware, web services, or integration platforms.
- Experience in debugging, reverse engineering, root cause analysis, and technical defect resolution.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle, testing lifecycle, deployment processes, and production support.
- Ability to work with customers, system integrators, business users, functional consultants, developers, testers, and project managers.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of code review practices, maintainable development standards, and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations and recommend standard platform features over excessive customisation.
- Ability to propose practical and maintainable technical solutions or workarounds.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional project team.
