Role Overview
Provide on-site and remote technical support for CCTV, access control systems, PA/TV systems, and related installations. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and assisting with installations to ensure smooth operations for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, access control panels, and related security devices, PA systems, TV systems.
- Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, cabling, and basic network connectivity problems.
- Perform routine maintenance and system checks at client sites, including hospitals and commercial buildings.
- Document all service activities and update job sheets accurately.
- Communicate clearly with clients and escalate complex issues to senior technicians or project managers.
- Ensure compliance with bizSAFE safety protocols and company standards during all tasks.
Requirements
- Education: NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or IT.
- Experience: Happy to support the start/restart of your career.
- Skills: Basic troubleshooting and repair skills for CCTV and access control systems.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow installation instructions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
1-2 years in technical support or installation of security systems in government infrastructure is an added advantage. - Other: Physically fit and willing to travel to customer sites.
Comfortable working under tight timelines.
