About the Role

The Integrated Media Planner will join the APAC Planning Hub, supporting the development and delivery of integrated media plans across multiple brands and markets.

This is not a digital-only planning role. You will work across the full media ecosystem, including paid social, programmatic, video and connected television, search, out-of-home, audio, partnerships and other relevant local channels to translate client briefs into clear, insight-led and executable media plans.

Working closely with the Regional Planning Hub, local PHD markets, activation teams and specialist functions, you will connect strategy with execution and ensure plans are delivered accurately, consistently and on time.

You will also guide and support planners within the Hub and coordinate market teams through dotted-line ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

Integrated Media Planning

  • Support the development of end-to-end media responses, from initial brief through to the approved media plan
  • Translate audience, brand and communications strategies into clear channel roles, investment recommendations and integrated media plans
  • Build detailed plans covering budgets, campaign phasing, reach and frequency, benchmarks and expected performance
  • Bring digital and offline channels together into a cohesive recommendation
  • Incorporate market intelligence, platform insights, historical performance and local market considerations into planning
  • Lead planning across an assigned portfolio of brands and APAC markets

Regional Coordination

  • Coordinate planning inputs across multiple APAC markets, campaigns and stakeholders
  • Work closely with local PHD planning and investment teams to incorporate relevant market knowledge, platforms, partnerships, inventory and investment considerations
  • Maintain clear visibility of briefs, planning progress, approvals, responsibilities and upcoming deliverables
  • Ensure regional recommendations can be translated effectively into local market execution
  • Set clear ownership, deadlines and quality expectations across the Hub and participating markets

Planning-to-Activation Handover

  • Prepare clear, accurate and complete briefs for the Activation Hub
  • Work with activation teams to validate CPMs, CPCs, audience availability, inventory and other planning assumptions
  • Ensure approved plans, purchase orders, creative requirements and campaign taxonomies are complete before activation
  • Coordinate the handover from planning to activation and resolve outstanding dependencies
  • Support campaign reporting and apply performance insights to improve future planning

Quality and Operational Excellence

  • Maintain high standards of accuracy across media plans, budgets, timelines and supporting documentation
  • Ensure client planning processes, templates and agreed ways of working are followed consistently
  • Proactively identify risks, missing inputs and dependencies before they affect campaign delivery
  • Drive consistency and planning excellence from brief and approval through to activation, reporting and learning
  • Support strong financial stewardship across media budgets, phasing and approved investments

Team Collaboration and Development

  • Guide and support planners within the APAC Planning Hub
  • Provide clear direction, constructive feedback and practical coaching
  • Build strong working relationships with regional and local planning, investment, activation and specialist teams
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused environment across markets and functions

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately three to five years of media agency experience
  • Strong integrated planning capabilities across digital and offline media channels
  • Sound knowledge of digital platforms, including paid social, programmatic, search, online video and connected television
  • Experience developing detailed media plans, investment recommendations and campaign phasing
  • Ability to coordinate multiple markets, campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence communicating with clients, internal teams, market teams, activation specialists and media partners
  • A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Regional or APAC experience would be advantageous but is not essential
