Join a globally backed leading insurer specialising in high-net-worth (HNW) life insurance. This is a rare opportunity to build and own the operational backbone of a Variable Universal Life (VUL) platform from the ground up - working at the intersection of insurance, private banking, and investment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end VUL policy lifecycle, from application submission to policy issuance, including custodian account setup and premium funding coordination
- Design and implement operational frameworks, including documentation standards, controls, and risk management practices
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for VUL operations, supporting brokers, distributors, and bancassurance channel
- Manage and optimise relationships with private banks, custodians, and distribution partners, ensuring seamless execution
- Track and report SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics, driving continuous process improvement and efficiency
Critical Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with business related qualifications
- 15+ years of life insurance operations experience, with strong exposure to VUL products
- Deep understanding of VUL lifecycle processes, including custodial structures and premium flows
- Strong knowledge of due diligence, compliance assessments, and regulatory requirements within insurance or financial services
- Proven ability to build processes from scratch in a structured and scalable manner
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex HNW client scenarios
