Instrumentation Engineer

Supporting a large offshore wind platform fabrication project, you will be responsible for overseeing the instrumentation packages, including inspections of equipment, completion and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities include

. Ensure health, safety, and environmental procedures are followed onsite

. Review engineering documents on instrumentation for all systems on the platform

. Participate in workshops as part of the design process

. Witness the receival inspections of relevant equipment

. Inspect the correct installation of instruments on site during scheduled inspections and surveillance walks

. Oversee the relevant mechanical completion and commissioning activities

. Interface to the yard team

. Track progress of all assigned activities

. Prepare the reporting to the Discipline Lead

. Report non-conformities and follow up on root cause analysis and corrective actions

Requirements

Education and Experience

. Minimum 5 years experience with HVDC converter platforms is essential

. Technical background (vocational or bachelor level) in a related technical field

. Minimum of 10 years experience with instrumentation systems in the offshore or maritime industry.

. Experience with international and national standards such as DNV, ISO/EN/DIN/NEN, IEC etc.
