About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced
Instrumentation Engineer to join our dynamic team at a module construction site in Singapore. This role acts as the key interface between the Engineering Office and the Site Execution Team, ensuring seamless integration and execution of instrumentation and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the focal point for instrumentation and control systems at the construction site.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation, calibration, and testing of systems in line with project specifications.
- Liaise with the design office to resolve technical challenges and ensure alignment on design interpretations.
- Coordinate with vendors and engineering teams for integration of ICSS, ESD, PLC, and F&G systems.
- Monitor and support pre-commissioning activities to ensure compliance with design standards.
- Manage site instructions, engineering queries, and changes, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance and proactively address issues.
- Facilitate coordination among subcontractors, system integrators, and commissioning teams.
- Provide expert troubleshooting support during construction and pre-commissioning phases.
Skills & Experience
- 1520 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems, including floating production installations and site construction.
- Strong knowledge of Instrumentation, Fire & Gas, and Control Systems.
- Experience in FEED, proposals, basic and detailed design, and construction.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong initiative.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
- Proficiency in SPI and database systems; Navisworks required.
- Experience with Aveva Marine/PDMS is an advantage.
