FMCS / Instrumentation System Engineer, primarily responsible for the on-site supervision, interface coordination, and execution support of FMCS and instrumentation systems for high-tech manufacturing facilities. Candidates with experience in high-tech facility construction are highly preferred, with solid knowledge of instrumentation system design and installation, site management, integration of testing and commissioning schedules, FMCS system interfaces, and effective cross-disciplinary coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site supervision and coordination for FMCS and instrumentation works in semiconductor fabrication facilities.
- Monitor installation of field instruments, sensors, control panels, cabling, and related systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Able to read and interpret FMCS-related drawings to support effective site execution and issue resolution
- Coordinate with on-site interface teams to ensure FMCS and instrumentation systems are properly aligned with construction progress and equipment installation schedules
- Support integration of field instrumentation with FMCS / control systems, including interface coordination with system vendors and integrators.
- Identify and report site issues related to workmanship, safety, design discrepancies, or system interfaces, and support corrective actions
- Participate in site inspections, system handovers, and coordination meetings with Clients, consultants, and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of site experience in FMCS, instrumentation, or control systems for semiconductor fabs, high-tech facilities, or industrial construction projects.
- Degree in Instrumentation or facility management or equivalent
- Strong hands-on experience in on-site supervision of instrumentation and control system installations.
- Able to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and FMCS-related drawings.
- Familiar with construction sequencing, site coordination, and subcontractor supervision.
- Able to work independently on site, and coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, system integrators, and Clients.
- Able to communicate effectively with site teams, subcontractors, Clients, and authorities.
- Willing to work in a site-based and shift-based environment, as required by the project
- Willing to take on One Year Contract, with possible renewal.
