Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation and control systems (pressure, temperature, level, flow, etc.).
- Plan and allocate daily work tasks to the instrumentation team, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Monitor the quality of work to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Oversee testing and commissioning of field instruments, control valves, transmitters, PLCs, and DCS systems.
- Troubleshoot faults in instrumentation and control systems, and provide technical solutions on-site.
- Coordinate with engineering, electrical, and mechanical departments for inter-disciplinary activities.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of calibration tools, testing equipment, and safety devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of loop checks, calibration records, and test reports.
- Enforce safety procedures and participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
Responsibilties:
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, PLCs, and DCS.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures, standards (e.g., ISA), and testing equipment.
- Experience with commissioning, loop checking, and functional testing of instruments.
- Knowledge of safety standards and permit-to-work systems in marine environments.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and team supervision skills.
