About the Course

Vertical Institute's Data Analytics Course provides learners with a solid foundation in the essential tools and techniques used in modern data analysis. The curriculum covers practical skills in Excel for data manipulation, SQL for working with relational databases, and Tableau for data visualization. Learners gain experience in cleaning, analyzing, and presenting data to extract meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. All classes are delivered live through Zoom, typically scheduled on weekday evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and beginner-friendly online lessons in Excel, SQL, and Tableau
• Teach learners how to perform data analysis using Excel functions, extract data using SQL queries, and build effective visualizations and dashboards in Tableau
• Guide students through practical exercises, real-world datasets, and project-based learning
• Communicate technical topics clearly and effectively to learners with varying levels of experience
• Offer mentorship, constructive feedback, and hands-on support throughout the learning process
• Continuously refine teaching methods and lesson delivery based on learner feedback

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the Finance industry with strong expertise in data analytics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data cleaning, formulas, and pivot tables), SQL for data querying, and Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualization
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex concepts for beginners
• Comfortable conducting classes over Zoom with a reliable remote teaching setup (camera, microphone, stable internet)
• Prior teaching or training experience is an advantage
