Key Responsibilities

• Prepare exterior surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and removing old paint
• Apply primers, paints, sealants, and protective coatings to outdoor building surfaces
• Mix and match paint colors according to project requirements
• Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment for painting applications
• Repair minor surface defects such as cracks, holes, or uneven surfaces before painting
• Erect and work safely on scaffolding, ladders, and elevated platforms
• Protect surrounding areas from paint splashes and damage
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality finish and compliance with project standards
• Maintain painting tools, materials, and equipment properly
• Follow workplace safety regulations and use protective equipment at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience as an outdoor painter in construction projects
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation methods
• Ability to operate painting tools and spray equipment
• Familiarity with safety procedures for working at heights
• Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team
