Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers

• Apply paint, varnish, sealants, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment

• Mix and match paints to achieve required colors and textures

• Repair cracks, holes, and surface defects before painting

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and other working platforms safely

• Follow safety procedures, especially when working at heights or with chemicals

• Protect surrounding areas (windows, landscaping, fixtures) from paint damage

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met

• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter in construction or similar role

• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety practices

• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor weather conditions

• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks

• Basic understanding of surface preparation and finishing methods

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
