Key Responsibilities:
Actively prospecting and generating new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other sales activities for laboratory and production consumables
Engaging with customers to understand their requirements and challenges, and proposing appropriate products
Maintaining and developing strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and cross-selling
Accurately forecasting sales, tracking pipeline, and reporting on key performance metrics
Collaborating with the broader sales team to share best practices and support the achievement of the company's sales objectives
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to customers
Requirements
At least 1-2 years of experience in an inside sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the sales or engineering industry
Diploma/Degree in Chemical engineering/Chemistry or related engineering field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with customers
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify customer needs and provide solutions
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
A proactive, self-motivated, and resilient mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment
