About the Role

We are looking for a Picture Framing Consultant to join the team. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable framing solutions based on their artwork, preferences and budget.

This role is suitable for someone who has a strong eye for detail, good numerical and measurement skills, and an interest in art, design or visual presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with their picture framing requirements.
• Understand customers preferences, artwork types and budgets to recommend suitable framing solutions.
• Advise customers on frame styles, materials, matting and glazing options.
• Accurately measure artwork and calculate framing requirements and costs.
• Prepare quotations and process customer orders.
• Present frame samples and explain the differences between materials and finishes.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a neat and presentable showroom.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
• Keep updated on framing, artwork presentation and design trends.

Requirements

• Prior experience in customer service, retail, sales or design-related roles will be an advantage.
• Strong interest in art, design, framing or visual presentation.
• Candidates with relevant experience in picture framing, interior design, art, retail or visual merchandising are encouraged to apply.
