Inland Operation & Procurement - Senior Executive / Assistant Manager / Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

Global Policy & Strategy Execution

• Execute the global IOP policy and annual procurement guidelines.

• Lead and monitor RHQ compliance with established standards for transportation (trucking, barge, rail) and facility operations (depots, ICDs, CFS).

Procurement Governance & Approval

• Facilitate and manage internal approval processes for RHQ procurement items in accordance with the IOP policy approval matrix.

Cost Optimization & Efficiency

• Drive global cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiency improvements within inland operations.

• Support process optimization and monitor cost-effective procurement activities across regions.

Cross-team Collaboration

Promote collaboration within the Global Container Steering Department.

Support potential dual-role responsibilities with related teams such as GCAM or GCFM when required.

Job Requirements
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

- Strategic thinking capability, particularly in global inland operations and procurement

- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Google Workspace applications
- 4-5 years of experience in the shipping industry

- Good understanding of operational functions within a liner shipping company

- Experience working in a global organization with the ability to communicate effectively across different time zones
