Job Description & Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

Global Policy & Strategy Execution

• Manage and execute the Global IOP policy and annual procurement guidelines.

• Provide strategic direction to RHQs to establish optimal setups for Transportation (Trucking, Barge, Rail) and Facilities (Depots, ICDs, CFS).

Procurement Governance & Approval

• Oversee internal approvals for all RHQ procurement items in accordance with the approval matrix defined in the IOP policy.

Cost Optimization & Efficiency

• Drive global cost savings and operational efficiencies within inland operations.

• Implement process improvements and monitor cost-effective procurement activities across all regions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal departments and work closely with RHQs and country organizations to align costs, commercial needs, and operational execution.

Requirements

• Strong analytical mindset with advanced problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strategic thinking with a global perspective on inland operations and procurement.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

• Proficient in Google Workspace applications.

• Experience in liner shipping, specifically in inland/intermodal procurement and operations.

• Proven track record in driving cost-saving initiatives and managing cross-regional stakeholders.
