RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist Ink/Production Department with organization of color database and development of custom ink color formulations for lamination/printing process.
- Calculating ink formulations for each production order
- Color matching for testing to customers requirement for accuracy and adherence to customer requests, with specific vision abilities requirement on close vision and color vision
- Arrange daily adhesive / ink mixing for production usage
- Troubleshoots ink and coating problems
- Coordinate with Machine Operator & QC Inspector for color tolerance during production processing, and to ensure quality and accuracy of end result.
- Receive incoming adhesive, chemicals, inks and varnishes, verification of quantities against purchase order and/or delivery order
- Making requisitions for replenishment of adhesive, chemical, inks and varnishes
- Work with Production Team for each production order schedules on inks
- Prepare and keep records of adhesive/ink usage/formulation
- Monthly stocks take and generate monthly inventory reports for submission to management (Ink consumption and Ink quality)
- Monitor cylinder control
- Ink costing
- Housekeeping and keep proper storage/location of ink
- Performs other ad hoc duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Vocational Institute Training / Secondary
- Min 3 years of supervisory/relevant technical work experience
- Self-motivated
- Able to work indepently with initiative
