KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (JOB REQUIREMENTS)
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead infrastructure projects from concept through execution, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Oversee implementation of IT infrastructure across hotel expansions, casino upgrades, smart room installations, retail deployments, and major venue events.
Ensure alignment with overall resort technology strategy and digital transformation goals.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the key liaison between IT, Facilities, Hotel Operations, Casino Operations, AV, and Security for infrastructure-related work.
Translate operational and guest-facing requirements into technical execution plans with architects and system engineers.
Technical Planning & Oversight
Coordinate deployment of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), server hardware, structured cabling, UPS, CCTV, access control, and smart building technologies.
Review technical designs, bill of materials (BOM), and solution architecture with internal teams and third-party vendors.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Manage third-party contractors, system integrators, and OEM partners to deliver components on time and within budget.
Ensure compliance with resort IT standards, safety guidelines, and procurement policies.
Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance
Identify potential project risks and mitigation strategies early in the lifecycle.
Ensure infrastructure deployments are aligned with compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, PDPA, and local building/fire regulations.
Reporting & Documentation
Provide regular updates to senior management on project milestones, issues, and change requests.
Maintain accurate project documentation including technical drawings, test reports, handover documents, and post-mortems.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 58 years of experience in IT infrastructure or project management roles
Proven experience managing infrastructure projects in hospitality, integrated resorts, large venues, or data center environments.
Solid knowledge of:
Network design (Wi-Fi, VLANs, structured cabling)
AV/IT convergence
Data center and server room standards
Smart systems (e.g., BMS, IoT, in-room tech)
Strong working knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and methodologies (PMP, Agile, Waterfall)
Preferred:
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
ITIL Foundation certification
Experience in managing casino technology or regulated environments
Familiarity with technologies like Cisco, Aruba, VMware, Microsoft Azure, or Crestron
Key Competencies:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, especially in a multi-vendor environment
Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders under tight timelines
Resilience and adaptability in high-pressure, 24/7 operations environments
