Roles & Responsibilities
NTT DATA Singapore is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager for a 12-month contract with a Singapore government agency in the defense technology domain.
The role involves managing IT infrastructure projects in a secure, regulated environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage IT infrastructure projects in network, server, cloud, and data center domains.
- Develop project schedules, reports, and documentation.
- Track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues when required.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Support project budget tracking, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Provide stakeholder updates and conduct post-implementation reviews.
Key Requirements
- Singapore Citizens only - due to mandatory CAT security clearance.
- 4 - 6 years experience in IT infrastructure project management or coordination.
- Exposure to cloud, networking, servers, or data center environments.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and vendor coordination.
- Familiar with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, PMP/PRINCE2 frameworks (certifications preferred).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- This role requires communication with overseas stakeholders, including Mandarin-speaking counterparts, hence proficiency in Mandarin is necessary
- Prior experience in banking, financial services, or government projects is a plus.
- Candidates who have previously obtained CAT clearance may be eligible for an expedited clearance process.
Education & Certifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- ITIL Foundation, PMP, or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
