About the Company
Our client is a Singapore-based SME undergoing digital transformation, with a focus on strengthening IT infrastructure and cloud adoption. We are seeking an Infrastructure Manager to oversee and optimize the company's on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company's IT infrastructure operations (on-premises servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms).
- Design, implement, and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions across Azure and AWS (SAP environment exposure preferred).
- Oversee IT network architecture, including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and connectivity across multiple sites.
- Ensure infrastructure reliability, performance, and scalability in line with business needs.
- Manage vendor relationships, including cloud service providers and hardware/software vendors.
- Establish and enforce IT governance, policies, and compliance with security standards.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, implement proactive improvements, and handle incident management.
- Lead infrastructure projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to the IT support/operations team.
- Budget planning and cost optimization for infrastructure resources (on-prem & cloud).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (networking, identity, security, monitoring).
- Exposure to SAP on AWS preferred (infrastructure, hosting, or migration experience).
- Solid understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, routing, load balancing).
- Experience in managing IT security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to lead infrastructure projects end-to-end in an SME environment (hands-on when needed).
