We are looking for an Infrastructure Lead to manage and support mission-critical systems in a government environment.
This role focuses on Day 2 operations, ensuring infrastructure stability, performance, and security across servers, networks, and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure operations to ensure 24/7 system stability and availability
- Manage servers, networks, storage, and on-prem / cloud environments
- Oversee incident management, troubleshooting, and escalation
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, patching, and capacity planning
- Ensure compliance with government security and operational standards
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and reporting
- Support application deployment, middleware, and integration platforms
- Drive disaster recovery and business continuity readiness
- Mentor and lead a team of infrastructure engineers
Requirements
- Singapore Citizen (mandatory)
- 7-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure / operations roles
- Strong expertise in:Servers, networking, storage, virtualization, Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) Containers (Docker / Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Nagios) and automation (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience managing incident response in 24/7 environments
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and regulated environments
- Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with middleware (WebSphere, Tomcat) and deployment pipelines
- Exposure to Kafka, Solace, Nginx, Apache, MongoDB, MSSQL, IBM MQ
- Experience working with multiple vendors and system integrators
