Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and upgrade servers, networks, and related hardware/software

• Perform asset management and maintain accurate asset records

• Monitor IT infrastructure health and security on a daily basis

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and network-related issues

• Execute change management processes ensure all changes are documented and trackable

• Respond to service requests and incidents to provide timely and effective resolutions

• Collaborate with service providers/vendors to ensure SLAs are met

• Automate tasks using Bash/PowerShell scripting or high-level languages such as Python/Perl

• Support IT infrastructure provisioning for projects and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

  Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

• Engineer: Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience

• Senior Engineer: Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience

• Proficient in troubleshooting IT issues through log analysis and step-by-step tracing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and collaboratively as a team player

• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools for continuous improvement of systems and processes

Technical Skills (Advantageous)

• RedHat, Windows OS

• Cisco networking

• Dell EMC, Pure Storage

• VMware
