Infrastructure Engineer

Gather and analyse business and application requirements for infrastructure solutions. Support the design, installation, testing, and implementation of Windows systems. Manage changes through established processes, respond to incidents, and implement corrective and preventive measures. Monitor system performance, service levels, and ensure adherence to ITIL, ISO20000, and ISO27001 best practices.

What will you do

• Gather infrastructure requirements and perform analysis and design
• Plan, design, install, test, and implement Windows systems as specified
• Manage system changes through established change request process
• Respond to incidents, investigate, and provide timely resolutions
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures
• Monitor performance and availability of systems and take corrective actions
• Monitor agreed service levels and document system configurations
• Plan and implement business continuity measures including backup and disaster recovery
• Provide technical advice on systems to customers and project teams
• Ensure ICT system management aligns with ITIL, ISO20000, and ISO27001 standards
• Support budget, resources, and schedules for system implementation activities
• Apply facility management standards for consistent system operations
• Evaluate business environment to support long-term strategy development
• Advise on technology adoption considering business and technical requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Two to three years of IT experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration
• Understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery practices
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ISO20000/ISO27001 standards
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
