Infrastructure Engineer

Role:

• We are hiring to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure in a business-critical environment.
• This role is suitable for an infrastructure professional who enjoys solving production issues, working with clear processes, and supporting reliable enterprise systems across Windows, Linux, VMware, storage, backup, monitoring and security operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Windows Server, RHEL/Linux, VMware, servers, storage, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
• Monitor system health, respond to alerts and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Support patching, OS upgrades, firmware updates, and planned infrastructure changes.
• Monitor backup, recovery and replication activities to help ensure data availability.
• Support root-cause analysis and preventive actions for recurring infrastructure issues.
• Support security controls, access management and infrastructure hardening.
• Work with internal IT teams, application teams, security teams, vendors and service providers to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including SOPs, system diagrams, maintenance logs and change records.
• Support infrastructure reliability in line with operational and service expectations.

Required Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3–5 years of infrastructure administration or systems support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, RHEL/Linux, and VMware.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure such as servers, storage, backup, monitoring and firewalls.
• Familiarity with patch management, change management, incident support, and production operations.
• Able to troubleshoot issues, communicate clearly and maintain accurate documentation.
• Able to work within structured processes, security controls, and production support expectations.
