Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer (Level 2) to support and manage enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining server infrastructure, network systems, cloud services, endpoint management platforms, and security operations while ensuring high availability, operational stability, and compliance with service standards.

This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to manage both operational support and continuous improvement initiatives within a modern hybrid IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

  • Administer and maintain Windows server environments, virtualization platforms, and enterprise network infrastructure
  • Support hybrid cloud environments including Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS platforms
  • Manage firewalls, switches, routers, VPN infrastructure, and connectivity services
  • Support infrastructure refresh, migration, and replacement activities while ensuring minimal operational disruption

Endpoint & Device Management (Microsoft Intune)

  • Manage enterprise endpoint administration through Microsoft Intune
  • Handle onboarding and enrollment of corporate and BYOD devices including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms
  • Configure and maintain compliance policies, configuration profiles, and security baselines
  • Deploy, update, and maintain enterprise applications through centralized endpoint management platforms

Incident Response & Technical Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, cloud, and security-related incidents
  • Coordinate escalations with vendors and service providers where necessary
  • Perform root cause investigations and prepare technical incident documentation
  • Provide onsite support for critical incidents that cannot be resolved remotely

Security, Vulnerability & Patch Management

  • Manage server patching, firmware upgrades, and security updates across infrastructure environments
  • Support remediation activities arising from vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
  • Assist in cybersecurity incident investigations, containment, and recovery activities
  • Maintain infrastructure hardening standards and operational security best practices

Identity & Access Management

  • Administer identity and access management across Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and on-premises environments
  • Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning activities
  • Maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Conditional Access Policies, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Support Privileged Identity Management (PIM), guest access governance, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations
  • Monitor synchronization health between on-premises Active Directory and cloud identity platforms
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and privilege audits to maintain compliance and least privilege standards

Email Security & Messaging Administration

  • Manage secure email gateway operations and mail flow monitoring
  • Maintain SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations to support email security and deliverability
  • Monitor synchronization and continuity services for messaging platforms
  • Investigate and resolve mail delivery, filtering, and impersonation-related issues
  • Coordinate escalations with email security vendors and service providers when required

VPN & Secure Remote Access

  • Maintain and monitor remote access infrastructure including VPN gateways and cloud connectivity
  • Troubleshoot VPN performance and authentication issues
  • Support secure integration between VPN platforms and identity providers
  • Ensure MFA and conditional access controls are enforced for remote access services

Audit, Compliance & Governance

  • Support internal and external IT audit activities
  • Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, firewall rules, and network configuration records
  • Assist in implementing corrective actions arising from audit findings or compliance reviews
  • Maintain operational records and technical reports required for governance purposes

Automation & Platform Engineering

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
  • Support Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives and operational automation projects
  • Assist in managing containerized workloads and modern application environments such as Docker or Kubernetes

Cloud Cost Optimization & Business Continuity

  • Participate in cloud resource optimization and cost governance initiatives
  • Monitor cloud utilization and recommend resource optimization opportunities
  • Support disaster recovery planning, backup validation, and resiliency testing exercises
  • Assist in annual disaster recovery drills and restoration validation activities

Collaboration & Technical Support

  • Act as the escalation point for Level 1 / EUC support engineers
  • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
  • Coordinate with vendors and warranty providers for infrastructure-related issues and support activities

Requirements

Technical Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with:Windows Server administrationActive Directory & Microsoft Entra IDMicrosoft 365 administrationAzure and/or AWS cloud platformsFirewalls, switches, routers, and VPN technologiesMicrosoft Intune and endpoint management

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or container platforms is advantageous
  • Understanding of cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, and audit compliance
  • Experience working within managed services or hybrid support environments preferred
