Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Cloud & Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced technical environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, deployment, management, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions across mission-critical environments.

This position requires strong technical expertise in virtualization, systems administration, networking, and infrastructure support. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capability to manage multiple infrastructure projects while ensuring high availability, security, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the technical execution of infrastructure and system implementation projects from planning through deployment and support. Participate in the installation, configuration, migration, and upgrading of server, cloud, and network infrastructure environments while ensuring minimal operational disruption.

Design and propose end-to-end infrastructure solutions based on business and technical requirements. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery within established timelines and service standards.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and supporting continuous technical development. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, implementation procedures, technical reports, and operational records.

Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for complex technical problems involving servers, virtualization platforms, operating systems, network infrastructure, and security appliances. Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, scalability, and overall system efficiency.

Support and maintain mission-critical environments including data centres, disaster recovery platforms, and business continuity systems while ensuring compliance with operational standards, security policies, and industry best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related discipline
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server Operating Systems and Unix/Linux environments
  • Solid experience with virtualization technologies and hypervisors, preferably Nutanix
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and enterprise system administration
  • Experience managing VPNs, firewalls, and other network security appliances
  • Good understanding of networking technologies including switches, routers, and network architecture
  • Familiarity with container technologies and modern infrastructure platforms
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • NCP or NCM certifications will be considered an advantage
