Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Architect for Cloud Platforms (AWS), you will develop and design cloud platform solutions that support the business requirements of the client, delivered in a project services billable engagement. You will provide both logical and detailed physical design documents for the target environments and associated connectivity of the clients hybrid multicloud infrastructure initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design Cloud Solutions: Develop and design cloud platform solutions that meet client business requirements, emphasizing appropriate workload placement within the AWS public cloud environment and the client's Enterprise IT/hybrid environment strategy.
- Analyze Client Requirements: Collect and analyze the client's technical and business requirements, along with current IT and cloud environments, to make recommendations and provide architecture designs that help clients realize hybrid multicloud value and optimize IT service delivery.
- Ensure Solution Performance: Oversee the performance, availability, and scalability of the solution and its impact on the client's infrastructure.
- Create Design Documents: Provide logical and detailed physical design documents for target environments and associated connectivity of the client's hybrid multicloud infrastructure initiatives.
- Deliver Recommendations: Make recommendations and provide architecture designs required to help clients realize hybrid multicloud value and optimize their delivery of IT services.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Cloud Platform Solution Development: Experience with designing and developing cloud platform solutions that meet business requirements, including selecting software, automation, and services within the AWS public cloud environment.
- Hybrid Multicloud Architecture: Experience with analyzing client technical and business requirements to provide architecture designs that optimize IT service delivery in hybrid multicloud environments.
- IT Service Optimization: Experience with recommending and implementing solutions that improve the performance, availability, and scalability of IT services in cloud environments.
- Cloud Environment Design: Experience with creating logical and detailed physical design documents for target environments and associated connectivity in hybrid multicloud infrastructure initiatives.
- AWS Services and Technologies: Certification in or experience with AWS services and technologies, including workload placement and management in public cloud environments.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Hybrid Multicloud Strategy: Experience with developing strategies for hybrid multicloud environments, including analyzing client requirements and providing architecture designs that optimize IT service delivery.
