I. Job Overview
The Infra & Release Manager is responsible for managing IT infrastructure and software release processes. This role ensures system stability, security, and scalability while optimizing release management for speed and quality.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure (on-premise and cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of IT systems.
- Manage monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Optimize infrastructure resources for cost efficiency.
- Oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
2. Release Management
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Ensure software releases are delivered on time, with high quality and minimal disruptions.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to enhance the release process.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize release workflows for better efficiency.
3. Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
- Implement best practices for securing infrastructure and release pipelines.
- Manage access control and identity management to protect systems and data.
4. Team & Process Management
- Optimize collaboration between DevOps, Security, QA, and Development teams.
- Train and mentor teams on new technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Manage DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
III. Requirements
1. Must-have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, DevOps, or release management.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Experience managing containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Knowledge of security best practices, logging, and monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
2. Nice-to-have Skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), etc.).
