Infra Engineer (Application & Performance)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end troubleshooting across application, middleware, and database layers in multi-tier environments.
• Analyze and resolve performance issues related to application, middleware (WAS), and database interactions.
• Support core banking and enterprise systems across Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia entities.
• Review system architecture and identify gaps in integration, performance, and scalability.
• Work closely with vendors and local IT teams to drive issue resolution and ensure service stability.
• Monitor system health, batch processes, and interface operations (API, ETL, etc.).
• Support and validate DR/BCP architecture, including backup and recovery processes.
• Participate in infrastructure and application deployment, migration, and integration activities.
• Maintain technical documentation for system architecture, troubleshooting procedures, and operational standards.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 35+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, application support, or system engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience in both database and middleware environments.
• Experience with SQL, query tuning, indexing, and locking mechanisms in RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL).
• Experience with Web Application Servers (e.g., WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss) and understanding of thread management and connection pooling.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end system flow (Web → WAS → DB → Batch).
• Experience in API, batch processing, ETL, or system integration.
• Basic understanding of network concepts (HTTP/HTTPS, latency, connectivity issues).
• Proven experience in performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis across multiple layers.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Experience in banking or financial services is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure architecture is preferred.
• Proficiency in Korean is preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia).
