Job Description

Summary:

You are the support specialist for the integrated information and communications infrastructure including but not limited to servers, storage, network, desktops, laptops, printers, voice and data systems plus the audio & video conferencing set-up. You will work closely with the APAC IT Lead as well as the corporate IT team to support any changes, new requirements and standards. In addition, you will be required to assist in the rollout of Information Security project and implement remediation measures as required. This position works closely with the various functions under the Media Operations and Technology team in beIN Asia Pacific on promoting productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Desk Side Support: Provide timely support for beIN APAC offices, including setup of Windows/Mac machines and handheld devices.
  • Service Management: Log all requests/incidents in the ITSM ticketing system and follow up until closure.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review incident records with supervisors to suggest process, documentation, or training improvements to reduce avoidable incidents.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all IT operations and support activities are au fait with and strictly aligned to Group IT Governance frameworks and Group Information Security (IS) policies.
  • End-to-End Asset Lifecycle: Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets from purchase to disposal, including procurement assistance, automated deployment, and secure e-waste management.
  • Endpoint Management: Monitor and deploy OS and application patches as mandated by IT and InfoSec teams using JAMF (Mac) and SCCM/MECM (Windows).
  • Asset Discovery & Audit: Maintain a Single Source of Truth for all network-connected hardware and software licenses using Lansweeper.
  • Knowledge Management: Responsible of creation and upkeep of related IT documentation and procedures for the management of on-premise and off-site data centres.
  • Infrastructure Continuity: Plan and execute the Annual IT Power Shutdown, ensuring graceful shutdown and restoration of servers, storage, and network services.
  • BCP & Resilience: Assist in the planning, implementation, and testing of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery initiatives.
  • AV & VoIP Support: Responsible for the support and proactive maintenance of Cisco VoIP systems and Polycom/Yealink AV room systems.
  • Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in desk-side support, Cisco VoIP, and networking.
  • Prior experience with broadcast/media companies is highly preferred

Technical Proficiencies: * Hands-on experience with JAMF Pro and SCCM/MECM.

  • Proficiency in Lansweeper for asset management and network auditing.
  • Advanced troubleshooting for Windows and macOS environments.
  • Proficient in Python, MS Office, and ITSM ticketing systems.

Infrastructure Skills: Proven ability to coordinate large-scale maintenance windows (e.g., Power Shutdowns) and contribute to BCP/DR documentation.

Certifications: * ITIL V3 / V4 Foundation (Required).

  • ITIL V3 Service Operations / V4 Create, Deliver & Support (Preferred).
  • Microsoft Mobility/Cloud, Cisco CCNA, or Apple Certified Support Professional (Advantageous).

Soft Skills:

  • Highly motivated self-starter and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Team player with the ability to acquire necessary technological and business knowledge in an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced MNC matrix environment.

Education: Good Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
