INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Management

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and risks.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

2. Stakeholder Coordination

• Communicate project progress to management and stakeholders.

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.

• Manage expectations and resolve project-related issues.

3. Technical Project Oversight

• Oversee implementation of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.

• Ensure project deliverables meet technical and business requirements.

• Work closely with engineering and technical teams.

4. Risk & Issue Management

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Resolve project issues and escalate when necessary.

• Maintain project documentation and reports.

5. Vendor & Resource Management

• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.

• Ensure vendor deliverables meet agreed standards and timelines.

• Coordinate internal and external project resources.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare project status reports for senior management.

• Maintain project documentation, including scope, schedule, and change logs.

• Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, or systems.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2.

• Experience with Agile Project Management or Scrum methodologies.

• Experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure or data center projects.
