Information Technology Project Coordinator
Job Description
Role:
- We are hiring an IT project coordinator to support the planning, tracking, documentation, and coordination of technology projects in a structured, large-scale IT environment.
- This role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career candidates who want to build a career in IT project management, PMO, technology delivery, system implementation, or IT operations.
- You will work closely with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to help keep project activities organized, timelines visible, and follow-ups on track.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day IT project activities and support project execution.
- Track timelines, milestones, deliverables, approvals, action items, and follow-ups.
- Arrange project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
- Prepare agendas, minutes of meetings, presentation materials, and follow-up notes.
- Maintain project trackers, reports, schedules, and documentation.
- Support weekly and monthly project status reporting.
- Follow up with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders on pending tasks and approvals.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.
- Support project governance, reviews, sign-offs, and submission deadlines.
- Coordinate with technical teams on testing schedules, deployment preparation, and operational support activities where required.
- Support issue tracking and escalation coordination when needed.
Required Skills:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business information systems, project management, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates, career starters, or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills.
- Good attention to detail and follow-up discipline.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable coordinating with multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Basic understanding of IT projects, SDLC, system implementation, testing, or deployment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Project, or MS Teams is useful but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn and work in a structured IT project environment.
