Job Description – Senior IT Business Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join the Digital Excellence Center in a dynamic and multicultural banking environment. The role focuses on delivering enterprise-wide digital solutions by bridging business and IT teams across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in business process analysis, data analysis, testing coordination, stakeholder management, and banking systems, along with hands-on experience in complex enterprise transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

• Liaise with business users, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements

• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and solution designs

• Prepare:

o Functional specifications

o Use cases

o Test strategies

o Test cases

• Build work breakdown structures and support project estimations

SDLC & Project Delivery

• Participate across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Coordinate with development teams for solution implementation

• Ensure alignment between user requirements and delivered solutions

• Deliver thoroughly tested solutions within project timelines

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Prepare and execute qualification strategies and test plans

• Perform:

o System Integration Testing (SIT)

o Functional Testing

o User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination

• Identify and prepare required test datasets

• Track, report, and escalate risks/issues during testing phases

Data Analysis & Process Improvement

• Work with large data volumes and analyze data inconsistencies/anomalies

• Prepare datasets for analysis and validation purposes

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and reduce operational risks

Documentation & Support

• Maintain:

o Functional documentation

o User guides

o Operating guides

• Provide L2/L3 production support for incidents and troubleshooting

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with:

o Business stakeholders

o Onshore IT teams

o Development teams

o Project managers

• Report project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders
