Graviton is a privately funded quantitative trading firm striving for excellence in financial markets research. We are looking for an IT Administrator to support our Singapore (SG) office and play a key role in maintaining and scaling our IT infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work with hardware, systems, and inventory, and takes ownership of keeping office IT operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining end-user systems, managing hardware inventory, supporting servers, and ensuring the IT room and infrastructure are well organised and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-user hardware including laptops, desktops, NUCs, and peripherals, ensuring timely setup for new hires and smooth offboarding.
- Maintain and organise the IT room at the SG office, including cabling, racks, spares, and documentation.
- Perform hardware provisioning, upgrades, troubleshooting, and replacements as needed.
- Maintain and track IT inventory (hardware assets, licenses, accessories), ensuring accurate records and availability.
- Support and maintain existing and new servers, including basic monitoring, upkeep, and coordination with internal teams where required.
- Assist with OS installations, system imaging, and configuration for laptops and desktops.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of IT issues.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and warranty management when needed.
- Ensure adherence to internal IT policies and basic security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in an IT Admin, Desktop Support, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of laptops, desktops, hardware components, and peripherals.
- Experience with IT inventory management and asset tracking.
- Familiarity with server hardware and basic server maintenance.
- Comfortable with system setup, troubleshooting, and on-site IT support.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of IT operations.
- Clear communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
