Our client is a leading financial services organization with a huge presence in Singapore. As the company continues to expand the team, they will be looking for a Vendor Platform Operations Lead.
You will own end-to-end accountability for a suite of third-party managed applications within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role establishes comprehensive operational frameworks, oversees vendor performance, manages release cycles, and ensures cloud-based systems maintain enterprise-grade stability and compliance readiness with deep collaboration across business units, infrastructure teams, security operations, and external partners.
ROLE
- Design standardized workflows, operational templates, and escalation protocols for vendor managed platforms.
- Act as primary steward for designated vendor platforms, managing upgrade cycles, configuration changes, service disruptions, and continuous optimization.
- Critically evaluate closed-sourced vendor-provided systems including test outcomes, defect disclosures, security remediation evidence, and recovery procedures.
- Conduct L2 triage on alerts and incidents before escalating with diagnostic context to application , infra, network or security teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional incident resolution until ownership transfers to subject matter experts or external providers.
- Responsible for publishing workflow for the company's banking app on iOS and Android.
- Maintain vendor scorecards and ensure they meet SLA and KPI standards, work with legal and procurement on renewals of contracts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with at least 5 to 10 years in application or service management or IT service ownership in FSI/MAS-regulated environment.
- Hands-on management of vendor-developed applications (COTS/SaaS/managed services) with strong release discipline.
- Demonstrated success stabilizing complex, multi-stakeholder service environments
- Experience shaping commercial arrangements tied to measurable operational outcomes
- Practical cloud operations fluency (monitoring, audit trails, identity management, fault tolerance)
- Experience in ITIL, COBIT, CISM or CISSP will be preferred
- Hands-on experience in App Store Connect and/or Google Play Console Operations will be highly recommended
- Exposure to cloud-managed services will be prioritized
