Our client is seeking a motivated Informatics Pharmacist to support pharmacy information systems and digital healthcare initiatives within a leading healthcare environment. This role involves working closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to optimize pharmacy workflows, support system implementation, and enhance medication safety through technology.
Job Scope:
- Support the adoption and maintenance of new and national pharmacy systems, including system configuration, parameter setup, and user support during implementation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate system integration and interoperability between pharmacy information systems and medication automation systems.
- Prepare and execute system testing with appropriate test plans and datasets.
- Develop system specifications, perform accurate configurations, and ensure proper system setup.
- Audit data entered by users, generate reports for analysis, and support strategic planning with stakeholders.
- Build and configure medication records and clinical decision support to ensure accurate data flow across systems.
- Troubleshoot system issues, manage user support tickets, and support legacy pharmacy systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for medication-related system issues when required and recommend system improvements to enhance medication safety.
- Provide training to end users and support audits and data extraction when necessary.
- Represent the department in hospital, cluster, or national-level initiatives and participate in enterprise risk management activities related to informatics systems and data governance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
- Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical or healthcare operations experience.
- Prior experience in healthcare informatics, system implementation, or data lifecycle management will be an advantage.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary stakeholders across clinical, operational, and IT teams is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL is required.
- Certification or experience in healthcare systems or informatics tools will be an added advantage.
