Infant Care Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality care, supervision, and education to infants in line with the centre's curriculum and ECDA guidelines.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support infants physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Create a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment that promotes infants curiosity and growth.
• Monitor and document infants daily routines, progress, and development milestones.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on infants progress, routines, and any concerns.
• Ensure infants health, hygiene, and safety needs are met at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a supportive and professional environment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) recognised by ECDA.
• ECDA certified as an Infant Care Teacher.
• Prior experience in infant or early childhood care is an advantage.
• Passionate about working with infants and committed to their well-being and development.
• Patient, nurturing, and able to build trusting relationships with infants and parents.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
