Job Summary
The Industrial Robot Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial robots used in manufacturing processes. The role ensures robots perform efficiently, safely, and accurately to meet production targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial robots for tasks such as assembly, welding, painting, material handling, or packaging.
- Set up robot programs according to production requirements and engineering specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on robots to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software issues and report complex problems to the engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Record and report production data, errors, and downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to improve efficiency and robot performance.
- Assist in training new operators on robot operation and safety practices.
