Maintenance / Equipment Engineer, AGV/Robotics System

Role Overview

Your primary focus is to develop and execute an efficient maintenance plan that minimizes downtime through routine preventive tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and sensor calibrationand the swift diagnosis of electrical, mechanical, or software faults. By optimizing vehicle routes and addressing corrective maintenance immediately, you will ensure seamless warehouse delivery performance and high operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance including component inspection, cleaning, and lubrication to ensure equipment longevity.

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues within AGV systems to minimize downtime.

• Monitor AGV performance and oversee system operations to maintain safety and efficiency within the warehouse environment.

• Collaborate with production teams to optimize vehicle routes and improve overall workflow efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, system performance metrics, and incident reports.

• Ensure all operations remain in strict compliance with safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Work closely with warehouse personnel, the SEM automation team, and the CMMS system to streamline maintenance tasks.

• Maintain the flexibility to work overtime or varied shifts as required by operational needs.

• Execute any reasonable assignments or additional duties as directed by the Maintenance Lead or Department Head

Requirement :

• Diploma /Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a focus on automation.

• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse environments, specifically with ASRS or AGV maintenance.

• Prior experience with warehouse AHU/HVAC systems is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of industrial freezer operations and maintenance is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including performing tasks at heights.
