Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Development & Implementation

  • Lead and implement new repair capabilities for SAFRAN and partner OEMs.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze market/investment data.

  • Develop and source new equipment and consumables manage investments in testing and repair policies.

  • Coordinate trainings and user documentation.

Project Management

  • Track project progress, report milestones, and control expenses.

  • Manage contractors, suppliers, and maintenance plans.

Technical Support

  • Work with OEMs to clarify requirements and establish standards.

  • Review and validate shop test procedures.

  • Support workshops during new program launches and fleet upgrades.

Continuous Improvement & Communication

  • Initiate creative solutions and assist workshops in best practices and cost reduction.

  • Ensure effective communication across all stakeholders: HQ, OEMs, workshops, QA, Sales, CI, Supply Chain, and customers.

  • Manage contractual issues, safeguard SAFRAN interests, and support integrated logistics.

Health, Safety & Environment

  • Comply with all HSE regulations and actively participate in HSE initiatives.

  • Support corporate HSE programs and risk mitigation

General

  • Provide optimal customer support.

  • Assist maintenance and workshop personnel as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electronics, Avionics or Aerospace Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Aviation Engineering, Maintenance, or Repair Operations (OEM/MRO environment).

  • Proficient in product support, troubleshooting, and design/wiring of electronics test fixtures.

  • Experience with technical support environments and aviation airworthiness requirements (e.g., Part 145, ISO9000, AS9110).

  • Strong project, time & cost management - Create project timelines, allocate resources, set priorities, and keep tasks & budget on schedule.

  • Proficient with Microsoft software applications.

  • Excellent attitude, team player, motivated, reliable, interpersonal skills, meticulous and organized.

  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.

  • Able to adjust plans, make decisions, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks quickly based on changes, setbacks, or new requirements.
