Industrial Product Designer

Job description:

. Research and develop design concepts for industrial products based on market trends, user needs, and business requirements.

. Create sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D models using design software (SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, KeyShot) or any 3D software capable of converting files into STL and STP formats.

. Develop product form, materials, and finishes while ensuring functionality and manufacturability.

. Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and marketing teams throughout the product development cycle.

. Prepare design specifications, technical drawings, and documentation for production and prototyping.

. Participate in prototype evaluation, testing, and design improvements.

. Ensure designs comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality guidelines.

. Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve design and production issues.

. Support cost optimization without compromising design intent and product quality.

. Assist in product presentation materials, mock-ups, and design reviews with management or clients.

. proficient in both English and Chinese to communicate effectively with both vendors and customers to ensure smooth operations.
