Industrial Engineering Intern

Applied Materials is seeking for Industrial Engineering intern to join us, with a commitment through December 2026.

We are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to support our operations, process improvement initiatives, and productivity enhancement projects. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about data-driven problem solving, workflow optimization, and improving operational efficiency.

About The Role:

• Assist in conducting time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.
• Support process improvement projectsor other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Help analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Supply Chain) to implement improvement initiatives.
• Support layout design for workstations, equipment, or warehouse zones.
• Participate in project meetings and present findings or recommendations as required.

Desired Skills Required:

• Knowledge in AutoCAD, Simulation methods, SQL and Excel
• Flexsim and AnyLogics simulation tools
• Python, Data Analysis, Java

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree, Industrial engineering
