Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our production team. In this role, you will oversee production line setup and layout, ensure optimal capacity planning, and continuously improve manufacturing efficiency. You will lead workflow streamlining, conduct time and motion studies, utilize CAD/AUTOCAD tools for layout and design improvements, and apply ergonomic principles to drive productivity and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee production line setup and layout to maximize workflow efficiency
- Responsible for capacity planning, including resource allocation and equipment utilization
- Determine and monitor overall production capacity
- Streamline manufacturing workflows for enhanced productivity
- Conduct time studies and motion studies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies
- Apply ergonomic principles to improve safety and comfort in the workplace
- Use CAD/AUTOCAD tools for designing and optimizing layouts
- Regularly analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead initiatives to reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
- Analyze production data and recommend solutions to optimize operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in production line setup, capacity planning, and resource management
- Proficiency with CAD/AUTOCAD tools
- Strong background in workflow optimization, time study, and motion study
- Knowledge of ergonomic best practices in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with regular data analysis and waste reduction strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably in semiconductor, optoelectronics, and volume engineering
