Industrial Engineer
Location: Tuas
Working Day: 5 Days
Working Hour: 7:30am to 4:45pm
Salary: $3,200 - $4,500 (remuneration always commensurate with qualification and experience)
Job Description
- Review production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information
- Design production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste
- Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades
- Design control systems to minimize costs and production issues
- Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel
- Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs
- Design the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements
- Train staff for new processes and provide instructions and manuals
- Manage process documentation and prepare production reports
Job Requirements
- Diploma and above qualification (prefer in Industrial Engineering, Precision Engineering or Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering) OR Diploma/ Degree with min 3 years of relevant working experience in precision machining industry
- Knowledge of precision machining, production scheduling and production management
- Knowledge of production scheduling and production control
- Knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation
- Knowledge of part manufacturability
- Knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety
- Knowledge of Fire Safety of factory & office premises
