In-house Security Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced In-house Security Officer to join our team. This full-time role is based in Tengah Road / Choa Chu Kang area and will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel.

What you'll be doing

1. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor security and identify any potential risks or issues

2. Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, liaising with the relevant authorities as required

3. Monitor and operate security systems, including access controls and surveillance cameras

4. Maintain detailed records and logs of all security-related activities and occurrences

5. Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and reassure staff and visitors

6. Assist with the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures

7. Undertake ad-hoc security-related tasks as required

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience (at least 2 years) as a security officer, preferably in a similar in-house or corporate security role.

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders

3. Excellent observational and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and respond to potential security risks

4. Familiarity with security equipment and systems, including access control, CCTV and alarm systems

5. A cooperative and professional attitude, with a commitment to providing high-quality security services

6. A valid security officer license (PLRD) is mandatory
