In-house Security Officer (2-year contract)

[What the role is]

You will join a team of trained security personnel to perform the following security functions at MAS:
. Physical protection of personnel, buildings and assets
. Preventing and responding to security threats
. Enforcing security and fire safety regulations

[What you will be working on]

Your key duties include:

• Monitor Security Operations/ Currency Operations and daily security activities in the Security Command Centre

• Respond to security threats and manage Security Incidents

• Facilitate departments requests and queries related to security

• Enforce existing measures on the security and safety

• Conduct preliminary investigation of security incident

• Maintain effective monitoring and control of the Access Control System, Surveillance System, for example include basic trouble shooting and remedy actions

• Prepare the daily security report

• Assist in the review and automation security processes

• Support business continuity plan and contingency plans

• Participate in emergency preparedness exercises

• Perform any other duties as directed by Supervisors

• Candidates who has attended the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department Licence certification courses with a Security Supervisor (SS) or Senior Security Officer (SSO) level or equivalent security certification /experience.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in supervisory role in security command centre position or equivalent set-up
